Chartwell has extensive experience acting as receiver for lenders, acting as property management agent for REO property and providing property management services for lenders during the foreclosure process. Chartwell served as the court appointed receiver for the 300-unit Harvest Hills Apartments in Dallas, Texas, on behalf of J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, successor to The Chase Manhattan Bank, as Trustee for the registered holders of the DLJ Mortgage Acceptance Corp., Commercial Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates, Series 1996-CF2. Chartwell acted as the property management agent for a 109-unit REO property (Carmel on Providence) located in Charlotte, NC, having been appointed by Crimii Mae, as special servicer for the mortgage pool that included Carmel on Providence. Chartwell was also appointed by GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp., as special servicer for Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as trustee for the registered holders of GMAC Commercial Mortgage Pass-Through Certificates, Series 1999-C1, to act as the property management agent for the 184-unit Pines on Pelham apartment complex located in Greenville, SC.
