Christopher A. Wyett, Co-founder
Christopher Wyett is co-founder and co-managing member of Chartwell Holdings, LLC. Prior to co-founding Chartwell, Mr. Wyett practiced real estate & corporate law at the Boston law firm of Goulston & Storrs, from August 1998 to October 1999, and at the New York law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, from October 1994 to June 1999. Mr. Wyett graduated magna cum laude with an A.B. degree in economics from Harvard College in 1989 and magna cum laude with a J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1994. Mr. Wyett is a founding Board member of the Combined Jewish Philanthropy Real Estate Next Generation Group, which is developing affordable housing for mentally disabled adults in Boston; a trustee of Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston and a member of the Advisory Committee of the PJ Library of Boston. Mr. Wyett concurrently serves as the President of Churchill Forge, Inc., which manages apartment communities comprising more than 9,000 multifamily units in seven states.
Todd Gordon Abedon, Co-founder
Todd Abedon began working with the Boston-based real estate investment firm of Churchill Forge, Inc. in 1988, and has been principally involved as an owner, investor and developer in the acquisition, redevelopment and management of 31 properties with a combined market value in excess of $300,000,000. In 2000, Mr. Abedon, in partnership with senior executives of Churchill Forge, Inc., launched Chartwell Management, LLC and subsequently co-founded Chartwell Holdings, LLC. In 1997, Mr. Abedon co-founded Operation Home, a non-profit organization providing safety, handicap access and dignity to the Charleston area’s disadvantaged and disabled residents. He is past-Chair of Charleston Mayor Joseph Riley’s Council on Homelessness and Affordable Housing and a former founding board member of the Low Country Housing Trust, an advocacy group for affordable housing in the region. He also currently serves on the South Carolina Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness. Abedon is also a founding board member and immediate past president of the Friends of Sullivan’s Island School, a non-profit foundation established for the benefit of the Sullivan’s Island Elementary School. Abedon also serves on the Mary Ford Elementary School Foundation Board, established for the benefit of the inner city elementary school. Abedon is currently serving on a steering committee of a partnership between the Coastal Community Foundation and the Charleston County School Board to establish a volunteer for literacy program aimed at promoting literacy among 1st and 2nd graders in the Charleston area public schools. In 2007, Abedon was one of 20 people from around the state of South Carolina to be chosen for the Liberty Fellowship program, a leadership program focused on making South Carolina a better place for South Carolinians.
